The Automated Mailtray/Manifest Processing System
(AMPS™)
is the most modern and widely accepted carrier destination
allocation and labeling equipment in the industry. AMPS™
incorporates technology such as the CarterRoll™ Conveyors,
AutoScale™, and various scanners. Certified by the USPS PostalOne™
program, AMPS™ can be configured to handle both postal (AAA version)
and commerical mailers and shippers (TAASS version). AMPS™
automatically reads the destination address barcode with its
omni-directional barcode scanners and routes the information to the
system database. The CCS AutoScale™ will weigh your item and foward
the data to your database. The LPA (Label Printing Applicator)
prints and applies a D&R label and allocates your item to the
correct airline carrier or flight lane. AMPS™ prints D&R labels
compatible with a wide variety of carriers such as USPS, UPS, DHL,
FedEx and FedEx Ground. CCS’ AMPS™ system is the only setup
officially certified to meet USPS standards, accuracy and reporting
requirements. For postal operations (AAA), the system can be
provided with an optional tray sleever and bander setup for added
protection.
